Chocolate, Cheese...and Spandex

Last day on the cruise and sailing back to Long Beach. We had our fill of chocolate, cheese. shopping...everything....but it is time for breakfast....how much can one eat....well, it's amazing! Don't think you are sticking to any kind of a diet when you are on a cruise. "It ain't happening," That is all that I can say. A quick stop at the casino...we drop another $20...no luck. Oh well, be back later! We are now squeezing back into our bathing suits for a bit more lounging on the Lido deck...actually, we are covered in our towels, under the clouds...it's a day at sea and is not looking great at the moment.

It is 10 am and the cabana boys are out already taking drink orders. They ARE "drink pushers"! I think we've seen just about everything on this cruise. People-watching as we sunbathe - it is amazing what you see. A couple of hip-hoppers, some cool spandex-wearing folk with Ensenada caps ("hey, we know where you got them...hope you didn't overpay) worn backward with a rubber bracelet sticking out of the strap on the forward (it's a look..you had to be there). All shapes and sizes...mostly round (can be ugly at times). "I've been to Catalina" t-shirts ... too small for the wearer (must have been out of XL) not enough coverage and not sure what's underneath, if anything; Kind of gets lost in the creases (if you know what I mean). Others think they are on the Catwalk...here is a tip for some of them...make another wish! The hot-tubs are packed full...here's a question: how many people can you fit into a hot-tub? They "pack -em " full on this ship! Grease those hips and get in there. The majority here have ink..and lots of it...except us and very few others. (We fit right in...Lol). They are covered from head to toe...having a hard time making out what some of them are....between the creases, rolls and cellulite--well, let's say...you have to use your imaginations (get it? CARNIVAL IMAGINATION) Appropriate. It is very entertaining and lots of fun!! Dinnertime and showtime...DIVAS..another excellent show. Joined the Mardi-gras party ... caught some beads and did some dancing. Worked off some of that chocolate and cheese so we won't need that Spandex!
